Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

used as a house shoe which you can still take the trash out in, they're just right for the price. Love the little hinged heel flaps so you can slip them on as slippers w/o ruining the heel. Found them sized small; needed to return the first pair and order the next size up to fit.
