CW-X ElementX Running Pants (For Women)

These pants made running in the snow and cold yesterday pleasant! They fit well and blocked wind well so my legs were comfortable. I'm glad I purchased these and look forward to using them again.

I really like the CW-X Element jacket, so I was really hoping these pants would be great, too. However I was very disappointed with the pants. I'm 5'4", 120 pounds and these would have been just the right length, but are about nine miles too wide, just very baggy. I carry my weight in the hips and thighs so I ordered the L, which said size 6-8. I still don't think the small would fit... I didn't wear them running as I'm sure they would have caught more wind than they stopped.

I got these for 3-5 mile runs in variable winter weather. They look a little baggy, but they are great to run in. They are light weight and don't restrict movement in any way. I almost forgot I had them on. I went out in breezy 40 degree weather and was very comfortable.

I had reservations buying thm based on the reviews that they were short, but decided to go ahead when the price was just too irresistable. First of all, they ARE short. I am 5'5 with a medium build and not very long legs, and the mediums barely hit the tops of my shoe- though they were comfortable everywhere else, including the seat where I tend to be wider. Sitting down would make them look even shorter, but I got them for running so that isn't an issue. I have worn them in a brisk wind with tights underneath, and they felt good. On super cold days I plan to add a mid-layer. There seems to be enough room for this. I cannot comment on how they perform without an underlayer or in wetter conditions. A good purchase for me, but people with longer legs may not be as satisfied.

I bought these for cold-weather running. I wore them over thermal tights. They are way too short and baggy. I felt like a clown. I ran in them and the pants legs kept riding/bunching up. I considered trying a size larger but figured the bagginess would be even worse and probably still not be long enough. I am 5'8" and 140 lbs. and tried these in size Medium.
