“Bought it to use (mainly) as a base layer for skiing (alpine and shorter touring). With the "X" design it provides great support and compression for the upper body. The fabric helps you feel cool even when sweating (feels a little strange at times and I don't like it when it's cold out). However, unlike some of my other "high-end" base layers, this thing doesn't handle odor all that well (basically requires thorough washing after single use) and moisture handling is also just OK. If you're looking for compression I'd recommend it, but with reservations.”
