    This is a great little headlamp if you think of it as a backup. I always carry one in my packs, just in case. It's pretty much disposable, as the batteries sometimes cost more than the lamp itself. If you are thinking of this headlamp as your primary lamp, you'd be better off with a real headlamp. But if you know what to expect, you'll be surprised at how cool this little thingy is...

    This is a very weak light and I own other brands (Black Diamond) that are lighter and produce a much stronger beam. Might be good for looking under your car seat during the mid day sun.
