Cyclops Xenon-LED Flashlight

I use this a lot for backpacking, hunting and fishing. It uses AA batteries which last longer than AAA's. This is my second one. The first one lasted several years of torture. It went over 500 miles on canoe trips, several backpacking trips and countless hours of use.

Over all I like the headlamp. The battery in back balances it better (than battery in front types). The various options for lights does give some fexibility for direction of light but not as well as the movable light ones. Also it's a little harder to wear a cap with this light! I do like more batteries for longer life and the fact the battery case has a latch. I found the pop off kind break very easily pretty much making them useless since the battery connection becomes poor.

Great product for home and auto repair. Puts light where you need it and frees both hands.

I used it to work on my motorcycle and my car and it was alot better than asking my girl to hold a flash light.

Great light for the price, I would recommend this to anyone. Very comfortable, versatile and adjustable. The halogen light is very useful, and the unit is only slightly heavy b/c the three batteries, I found it managable still even for long distance hikes.

SAR group. Recent night training proved its worth, even against other, larger lights. One LED is all it takes for clear, bright light. Distance night vision is excellent. Illuminates a large area well.

Batteries were installed and things seemed OK until I tried to turn it off. It won't turn all the way off!

Well constructed head lamp. Comfortable to wear. The single diode setting alone is quite bright and sheds sufficient light for most uses. The xenon bulb has good range and its a nice feature to have available when you need to see over a larger distance. You can't go wrong with this light, especially for the price.

My wife needed a bright weight light to support hand work; I borrowed the light for back packing. It met both needs very well.
