These socks are great. They wrap my feet in luxuriousness. While putting in time on the stairmaster or miles running on the hills, my feet are totally happy. I bought this product primarily to have another pair of semi-casual socks (performance socks that are not white, solid black, or wild/bright colors that cycling socks so often come in), for an upcoming trip wandering through Italy with my wife. (BTW, i bought the "Earth" color, and the pattern is more understated/subtle than the picture suggests); I've been wearing them to test them out for that purpose and I love them: cushioning in all the right places, good temperature regulation (i tend to get hot easily, even my feet), not too bulky. They are thin enough that most road cyclists would probably be comfortable wearing them in their cycling shoes, but substantial/strong enough (seemingly--i haven't had them long) for light hiking (i might not use them on a multi-day trip carrying a 40lb pack, but short of that...). I'm also pick about seams in my socks, which is why i've been gradually replacing most of my socks with performance oriented (esp. merino wool) socks. These are perfect. Seams? What seams?

Nice alternative to traditional ankle socks, very comfortable. Anxious to get a few miles on these socks to get a sense of wear.
