Reviewed by Bruno from Boston Ma. on Monday, June 17, 2013Great shorts, thigh vents, back stretch panel, zip pocket, not to long not to short. My only gripe is it appears that the left pocket was sewn on upside-down, other than that the shorts are stellar. Might get another pair.
Reviewed by G_Rafa, daily bike commuter. from New York City on Tuesday, June 4, 2013I was not familiar with this brand and did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to find that a lot care and strong materials went into these shorts. I love them.
Reviewed by SingleDad from San Diego on Monday, June 3, 2013These are well made. True to size. I ordered a large based on reviews of other styles if DaKine shorts, which said they run small. I have a 32" waist and should have gone with Medium.
Reviewed by RehabDoc from Northeast Ohio on Wednesday, May 8, 2013I'm a 5'9" male and weigh about 138. I ride a road bike 16 miles per day. I wear padded road shorts but always wear loose shorts over them for modesty. I had been wearing gym shorts that were several inches shorter than these. These shorts are very well made and look pretty much like they do in the pics. They have a nice form-fitting fit. Definitely not baggy. A little snugger in the butt than I would like but not tight. I wear pants with a 30 inch waist so anything but the small would be too big.
Standing up, these hit just below the knee cap. Riding, they rub the front of my thighs with each pedal stroke but I'm used to it now. The mesh liner is very soft against the skin so the rubbing never becomes irritating and at this point I no longer notice it. The inner thigh vents really work. These are warmer shorts, perfect for a cool morning ride. Very sturdy material.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mash from Northern AZ on Saturday, September 8, 2012I must have mis-read the description, but these shorts have no padded lining like other MTB shorts. I returned them.
Otherwise they appeared well made. There is a mesh lining that seems like it might be a little abrasive.
