This also fits well "under the seat in front of you" on a plane, particularly with the one side pocket facing you for easy access. This has become a go-to bag and should be for a long time.

My ONLY disappointment in this bag is the carry strap. Though the strap is adjustable the comfort section of the strap is not. One of the good things about this bag is that it folds in on itself when you need to store it. When in use the end of the bag is usable space for your traveling items. When not in use the bag folds down and zippers in to the end pocket making for easy storage. DAKINE is a great product and this bag holds up to their quality standards. If I needed another small bag like this I wouldn't hesitate to order another one.
