4.0 out of 5 stars. good glovesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from CT on Tuesday, November 17, 2015I might give these a 5 star rating at the end of the winter, but for now the 4 star rating is my initial impression of them. Usually when I order XL gloves I have to return them because the manufacturers make the palm large but not the fingers. The fingers on these gloves do not feel XL, but they are definitely large enough to not cause any blood constriction in my fingers... so that's a good thing. Overall they are very comfortable and seem as though they will do the job when winter arrives.

4.0 out of 5 stars. I haven't tested them yetVerified Buyer Reviewed by Johnny Action from Montana on Saturday, May 23, 2015I bought them based on rating and price. I got them in the spring and haven't had the chance to test them out yet. They seem like decent quality and the sizing is correct. There is a $40 MSRP tag on them so I'm guessing they aren't high dollar gloves.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Waterproof. Well not completley true.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Dennis from The south on Thursday, January 22, 2015These are very nice gloves, comfortable, size is true, but the palm is a very soft leather. The description states "waterproof leather palm". The actual manufacturer tag attached to the glove when I received them states "water resistant". BIG DIFFERENCE. The gloves come with a small packet of water repellent treatment that you have to apply to the leather, and then find more when you need to reapply. So that was a big disappointment. Other than that these gloves are very nice for the price, just would have been nice if the description was accurate.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Very Soft GlovesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Texas Boarder from Dallas, TX on Thursday, July 31, 2014I haven't tried these gloves in the cold yet, as it is summer, and I'm in Texas, but I will need these gloves next season, so I bought them while they were on sale. When I got them, I was surprised at how soft they were. Hopefully these are a perfect weight to keep my hands warm and dry without getting them to sweat too much. The leather palm is very supple, which is nice, but also makes me a bit worried they will cut on the edge of my board while strapping in. We will see, but for the price, I'll give them a shot. They look awesome though, much better in person than in the pictures.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great BuyReviewed by Dev from Montana on Wednesday, December 25, 2013Dakine seems to offer a good deal of bang for the buck and STP offered a killer deal on these glove. Md was good sizing I just seem to need something in-between a sm and md. build is good, style nice, and materials quality for the price. Snow is too dry to test the effectiveness of waterproofing.

4.0 out of 5 stars. spare snow glovesReviewed by Anonymous from Scaggsville, MD on Friday, April 12, 2013Got these on sale and they seem great for the money - although I haven't used them in snow yet. Sizing seems a little small; my Medium size just fit me.
