I wore these all last winter skiing and snowboarding. It was my first year snowboarding, needless to say my hands spend a lot of time in the snow. My hands were always warm and dry even on the coldest day I have ever experienced on the hill (-6 deg F if I recall, it was cold!) These are a little snug when I was wearing wrist guards, but still manageable. The zipper closure helped get the glove over the guard, then zip up the glove and I was good to go. My gloves will be on year two this season and there are no signs of wear or tear and will be my go to. These are also low bulk/lower profile which is much nicer than the big thick gloves.
