I returned the pair of Large shorts because even with the adjustable velcro waist they were too tight to be comfortable. They seemed fine otherwise, but these were some of the more expensive shorts and I did not see what made them any better than less expensive shorts.

I've ridden with these shorts 3 times now and I am very satisfied with this model. The padding is a very comfortable size and does not feel bulky or awkward at all. I personally would have liked the shorts to be a little bit shorter but they are by no means too long. They hit just below my knee when standing, which is fine because while riding they sit up higher. The one thing I do not like is that sometimes it feels as if the crotch of the shorts gets caught a tiny bit on the seat when I try to lean back real far. Other than that the shorts are perfect and I would recommend them to anyone.

These were one or two sizes too small so I had to return them but did notice what other reviewers mentioned about the unsecured front pockets, they are cut in a way that makes them hang open, making them unusable. Other Dakine stuff I have and have tried on is hit or miss on the sizing.
