Reviewed by My Mittens Don't Like Me from Rochester Hills, Michigan on Tuesday, February 18, 2014I wanted to keep these mittens but had to return them. One of them was defective.
There was a piece of rubber in the shape of a triangular prism sticking out of the thumb. It was somewhat sharp. It was sewn beneath the thumb by what seemed to feel like a rectangular piece of rubber.
How did I know this shape was a triangular prism? By helping my son do his 7th and 8th grade math homework, I recognized the shape. This would have been a good, practical math problem. Find the shape of the triangular prism and its attached rectangular base.
Although these were good mittens at a great price, I had to return them because of that sharp piece of rubber sticking out of the thumb.
Reviewed by Adam from Wisconsin on Wednesday, January 22, 2014I'm very happy with this product. The glove and mitt combo have kept my fingers warm down to about -10 for a half hour. The mittens are long enough that I can tuck in the sleeves of any of my jackets with relatively minor effort. Dexterity is not as limited as I had expected.
My one complaint is that the liner gloves have gotten fuzzy and developed a little hole where the palm meets the cuff.
Reviewed by Terri from Tennessee on Monday, January 20, 2014Bought for my son and he is very pleased.
Reviewed by Cold fingers from CT on Saturday, January 18, 2014The quality seems to be good but they run a little small. The thumb ends up too tight for me and I had to give them to my wife.
Reviewed by Tim from Ohio on Monday, January 13, 2014Great pair of mittens for boarding or any other snow sport. To get a pair of mittens that come with a separate pair of thermal gloves for inside the mitts, you can't beat the price. Other popular brands cost the same but don't come with the thermal liner glove that makes all the difference when trying to keep your hands warm, and these do a great job. I think they run a bit small and would opt for one size larger than you would typically select.
