Even though it is labeled "small", which it really isn't, it is really the perfect sized bag as if you fill it up, you will surely be above the 50 pound weight limit most airlines impose. The bag is sturdy and well made. On sale, it is at least $60 cheaper than any place else I saw this bag advertised(even Amazon). Great deal.

This bag is nice and large. It has several compartments, and both a strong zipper as well as buckles to keep it closed. Very well made. Great for when you are not traveling light.

I knew this would be a great suitcase! I have a Dakine duffel, and it is great quality so I knew this would be no different! Just as pictured and great quality.

Just got back from a 2 week trip to Hawaii, and used this "small" suitcase to pack for myself and 2 young kids. It held everything comfortably and had room to spare for our gifts on the way back. The netting on the inside is stretchy and accommodates a lot. I did not have the problem of it tipping over, but I was mindful to pack heavier things on the bottom. The straps on the outside were great at compressing, and there are thoughtful details like an elastic band to keep loose straps down. My husband commented that he like the many straps on it, made it easy to lift off the carousel and in and out of the car. My kids like that is is a distinctive color (we got the red/blue one, looks like it may be sold out now) so they can spot it easily. It held up great on this one trip (no wear and tear to the nylon part, slight scratches on the plastic footing, but more likely from me dragging it on a sidewalk or something). I highly recommend it, and am thinking of getting another for my husband.

Bought the TAOS color--inside is a solid lime-ish color. Love how it's easy to spot in baggage claim. The bottom fits 3 packed pack-it cubes laying side by side. The top has 3 compartments which is great for organization and can hold a good amount of things as well (shoes, toiletries, stuffed animals, etc...). It's large enough to hold close to the 50lb weight limit of most airlines. Stands upright without tipping and has handles everywhere so easy to lift from any angle. Rolled through the airport, onto shuttle and to rental car place without a problem. Was also easy to put my medium sized duffle bag on top (but no strap on the suitcase for this like some other brands have-l just used the shoulder strap from my duffle to attach to the handle so wouldn't fall off). It's been though 3 trips this far and has worked great. Am glad I didn't buy the large--the "small" has worked great for myself and my two younger kids (one pack-it cube each). Replaces a larger High Sierra split duffle that started to fall apart at the seams after 3 years.

Its a nice bag. I actually wanted the bigger one- and still wish I got the bigger one. This fits a lot of stuff, but the bottom compartment is a little smaller than I was expecting. The top half has 3 nice large compartments- good for shoes, and undergarments and the bottom is where I put all my clothes.
Traveling with it this week- but it feels sturdy. I have other dakine products and only buy their bags for their function, style and durability.

I bought this for my daughter who is traveling through Europe for 6 weeks. She loves the size and features: not huge and lots of compartments. The size is manageable enough for her to be able to carry up stairs in the metro system.

In the process of packing for a 2 week trip and everything is fitting into it's place. I love that both side have a zipper so things are not moving around and falling out.

I love this suitcase. It's very well designed, with thought to all sorts of detail. First off, it's lightweight, which is essential with the 50 lb. limit. One problem with a large bag is that to fill it up, the bag weight exceeds 50 lbs. This bag seems to be designed to load 45 lbs perfectly. Next, it's narrower than most suitcases, which makes it easier to maneuver around obstacles. When open, each side has mesh zippered areas so things don't fall out when closing the bag up. The upper portion is perfect for shoes. It is very well-made, and has made it through 2 recent cross country trips almost unscathed. When packed, it doesn't sag, which was another problem with a different brand bag. The fabric is very strong and attractive. I LOVE THIS BAG!!!!! Maybe my only criticism would be it could be a touch smaller. But the cross straps allow you to cinch it up if not packed to capacity.
