Dakota West Amber Earrings - Post Back

I got these to give as a gift and I am pleased with them. They seem to be well made and are nicely designed. The amber is nothing special, it is a little dull and not as translucent as some amber is, but that is really the only reason I gave these 4 stars instead of 5. These earrings seem like the sort of piece that becomes the "go to" accessory--the earrings you choose most often because they work for a variety of occasions and outfits and because they are versatile, stylish, and pretty.

Earrings are substantial and stylish. Great value for the money.

things great about it are the color and material. Very upscale, looks expensive. However, why I wouldn't want to wear them, is that the posts, are not in the center of the earring. The posts are on one side, so that the bulk of the piece hangs below the lobe. I like button style earrings to fit on the lobe. These might work for some people, but they do not work for me. I gave them as a gift to another person, who wore them out to a play. I still think the fit, is not artistic. The quality of these earrings is very nice otherwise.

Overall, classic western wear. Nice as they are, I am a little disappointed that the amber, while nicely polished, is dark and doesn't have much of an internal glow or shine. Otherwise, perfect.

The only con would be this is a rather substantial earring for a post and might be too large for some users.
