Dale of Norway Dalen Sweater - Long Sleeve (For Women)

The wool looked nice, but was really thin -- more a knit shirt than a sweater -- and not what I had in mind at all. The description does say "thin and warm", but I was expecting a ski sweater, not a shirt, so I returned it unopened.

A rare combination of softness, warmth and yet light weight. Becoming color. Greatly regretted that my size (small) was not available. Medium too large, over all.

This sweater is not itchy, warm but light.

Very odd fit - the shoulders and the upper sleeves were huge, while the body was quite narrow. This would fit a linebacker, not a woman! Very disappointing, as the sweater was very beautiful.

THE nicest sweater I have ever owned. I feel even though it is somewhat casual in appearance that I can go somewhere nice in it because it is so well made. The yarn is thin and super soft, knit small and tight.

for dinner out after skiing. Like the fit - flattering and not so baggy like most current styles.

I wish I were thinner so that I could have worn this beautiful sweater. I wear an 18, and Extra Large was too tight for me.

lovely sweater. i ordered the black in large and it fit perfectly. i am normally 8 in tops. it really does not itch at all (which for me is a rare find) and i find it very practical as it can be used with dressy pants or casual. the colors work well for this time of year and hide all evils without being too severe. it seems well worth its high price.

This is a very good quality textile. At first I was hesitant to buy this sweater because of the price, but when I got it, I could see that it is made with extra care. The fabric is a true double-faced knit, meaning that that the inside is the reverse color of the outside, with the same knit texture throughout. These two layers make the sweater extra warm and durable. There are NO "floating" threads on the inside that could snag, which one often sees in cheaper sweaters. It is also a classic length, and the sleeves are long enough. Overall, I expect to get years of pleasure out of wearing it.
