Closeouts. Using elements of the traditional Setesdal pattern -- one that originated in Norway, and is used in numerous sweater designs to add an element of Norwegian charm -- Dale of Norway's Hovden sweater is treated with a water- and stain-resistant coating.

    Sweater was lovely, but the quality did not seem to be the same as Dale of Norway sweaters I have seen elsewhere. Perhaps it was the style. Collar appeared a little dingy.

    I ordered this in black. It is a classic sweater with a more femine fit the Dale's unisex sweaters. Warm without being bulky. Great with jeans or go a bit dressier with corduroys or khakis. This has quickly become one of my favorite sweaters.

    I bought this sweater in the ivory and black mainly because of the brand reputation and price; I would never pay over $200 for a sweater. For the price, they're a good value. I plan to wear it 90% for skiing. It's a little scratchy & stiff for everyday wear. Maybe it will soften up a bit after it's washed. I'm 5'8", size 8-10, and the medium fit fine, maybe a tad short for my preference but my ski pants are high waisted anyway.
