“Wonderful sweater, unflattering fit”

“I really wanted to like this sweater. The reindeer pattern is very classic, the fabric is high quality, and the velvet trim around the neckline/down the front and the snowflake buttons are very pretty. However, it just did not fit me. I typically wear an 8-10 in tops and an 8 in pants, but I am definitely curvey. I tried the Medium first, and it was a slightly trim fit (but okay), but the hip area was definitely too small. The sweater splays open at the bottom, and there are no buttons below the empire waist level. I then tried a Large, which was a little too big on the top but still didn't fit right in the hips. If you have a straight shape, or don't mind a V-opening at the hips, you'll probably like it.”
