Dale of Norway Kvitfjell Sweater - Wool (For Women)

ok, first let me say the sweater was high quality and lovely until I put it on. I got the cream/brown one. However the stripes (and perhaps the cut,not sure about that) emphasized my narrow shoulders and made my hips appear wider, resulting in an unflattering silhouette. If you have wide shoulders, you may like it.

This wonderful sweater just arrived. I was so excited! But I'm not certain I can keep it. I ordered a large as I'm a 12 or 14 but this one feels tight all over. I need to lose probably 5 lbs. for it to fit really right. And - wow - the neck does not fully zip up at all! It is just too too too tight to completely zip. I'm disappointed as a Dale cardigan I got a week prior (same size) fits perfectly. Quality cannot be beat. I can't afford regular priced Dales so I will be constantly checking Sierra for them. I no longer ski but these sweaters are simply the best1

I loved the sweater, but must return, it fit everywhere but where the sleeve and shoulder meet. It is so tight, not sure why. Other Dale sweaters have been a perfect fit.

The design and the colors of this sweater are great and the fact that it was made in Norway and not in China (which is becoming rarer as we speak) convinced me to give it a try although the price was a bit on the high side. But as I already said it's not made in China, and that's what you pay for. However, when I got the sweater I was very disappointed. The fit is rather stranger, it is long enough but the sleeves are bulky in the size large and too short in the medium size. The wool is VERY itchy and extremely heavy. Not very comfortable for the sensitive skin.

This is a beautiful sweater that will last a lifetime if properly cared for. Dale sweaters are the best! I bought another one a couple years ago from Sierra and gave it to my neighbor lady who had just returned from Norway! You can't beat the quality or the price with Sierra!

This sweater is amazing. First, the fit is perfect (I am a size 10 and ordered a medium). I ordered the tan and brown and it has a retro look to it. This sweater is well constructed and will last a very long time. This is not an inexpensive sweater but considering the quality it is a very good deal. If you are looking for a warm, attractive, heirloom-quality sweater this is a wonderful choice.

Great color, classic Dale of Norway quality of workmanship. Stands out in a crowd

As usual, I am very impressed with the Dale Of Norway sweaters. I downhill ski a lot and they keep me nice and warm under cold conditions in the wind. This particular sweater is extremely slimming. I purchased the red and black one. I never wash my Dale sweaters in the washer, no matter what the label states. I always dry clean them to preserve the vibrant colors and to keep them looking new at all times.

My husband gave me a double-thumbs up when he saw this sweater. I bought the blue one and love it! There was a slight itch when I first put it on, but that's kind of par for the course with a lot of Dale of Norway's sports-weight sweaters. The change in color across the chest is slimming and flattering. The sweater feels distinctly heavier than my other Dale sweaters, with a warm lining around the neck to protect from the itch. This is my 3rd Dale sweater from Sierra, and I am a solid fan of the brand now. Great quality.
