Dale of Norway Solveig Full-Zip Cardigan Sweater (For Women)

This is a really beautiful sweater. Unfortunately for me it runs really small. However my daughter is thankful for that, she has received two Dale of Norway sweaters from her mother in a very short period of time. They look fabulous on her. She has gotten many compliments.

As one would expect from Dale of Norway, this is a beautiful, high-quality sweater -- at a great price. I have it in the green color and love the design. I'm average height with a small frame, and the small size is comfortable on me without feeling too tight (or too loose). There are no negatives as far as I'm concerned.

I am a size 6, have broad shoulders, a full chest and a thin torso. The medium fits me perfectly. This is the second one I have bought. If you are self conscious about your torso/waist this would not be the right sweater for you.

gift for wife, she really likes it!

Green color is really lovely, brighter than it looked in photo, and the subtle light green design is classic and pretty. I am tall with long arms, usually wear a small, but after reading reviews sized up to a medium and it fits well and is shapely, neither too roomy nor too tight, and the sleeves are perfect, perhaps a bit on the long side for shorter folks. Wearing it right now in chilly Seattle and it is wonderfully warm, but not too warm to wear indoors. love the two way zip. wish I could buy one in every color! the perfect winter casual anytime sweater. Impressed with the quality, lovely workmanship. The only thing I don't like is the ugly and unnecessary "dale of norway" tag sewn firmly into the sleeve near wrist. It took great care and patience to remove it.

beautiful sweater but not a medium as advertised

I became a fan of Dales of Norway sweaters ever since I bought one 10 years ago. I bought size Small, and it's quite room around shoulder while maintaining classic "never goes out of fashion" style. Those descriptions don't apply to this one. Entirely different in every way except for color. Very soft (would it get fuzz balls?), and VERY TIGHT. I'll repeat - TRIM, FIT, TIGHT. I can't comfortably wear a long sleeve shirt underneath. Would still make a very nice stylish outfit for someone very skinny.

This sweater is truly beautiful. A fairly heavy weight, but not too bulky. Perfect for winter in the North country, and it was at a terrific price. These sweater sell for three times as much in stores here or even on line.

I'm wearing this sweater - the lovely red one, I have the blue also - today in chilly Puget Sound weather. As I noted in my review of the blue one, I had to order xxl (I'm usually a US 14 to 16) to get them to fit and the red is still a tad more snug than I'd prefer. Nonetheless, I'm lovin' it. Sleeves are a tiny bit long but I'm glad b/c when I turn them up it hides the silly "Dale" label on the cuff. I detest writing or logos on clothing.

A little heavier than I was expecting. Hoping it will be cold enough to wear it soon.
