Dale of Norway Storetind Sweater - Windstopper® (For Men)

I am a size 8 in womens sizes and the extra small mens fit me perfectly.

I reviewed a different Dale sweater elsewhere and gave it pretty low feedback. This sweater on the other had is AWESOME. Everything a high quality sweater should be. I am 5'11", 165lbs and the Large is perfect. Sleeve length is good also, which seems to be a problem on some of Dale's sweaters. Not this one.

I got this sweater for my father for an early Christmas present. The sweater, a 2x, is too big for me (6'1", 178lbs) but may be great for my father who is 6'3" 200lbs with very long arms. I purchased the sweater in the Black color (gray with a black snowflake). The windstopper lining helps make the sweater very wearable with a variety of clothing options, including T-shirts, because of the Windstopper lining. The sweater is very nice looking, high quality and warm. Sierra Trading Post has great online sales and coupons that brought the price down to a fraction of the original cost. Sierra Trading Post is, by far, an excellent store for quality merchandise.

Great for outdoor winter activity.

This is a beautiful warm sweater from the nortic designs to the workmanship involved in all the features. Knowing how Dale sizes clothes, I ordered the next size up (XL) and glad I did. Looks like it will keep me warm in the sub freezing temps of winter Pennsylvania. Thanks STP for the great product and excellent price.

I'm a slim 1m82 European man and I always buy 'large' size clothes. But this is one definitely short on sleeves (2 to 4 inches too short) and body length (hardly reaching my lower back). That was disappointing. But for the rest, nothing but praise: excellent quality and quite stylisch ; the warmest sweater on the market ; excellent for walking or biking at seaside in cold, windy, rainy weather conditions. Wearable from a chilly windy 18°C till minus 10°C. I bought it for especially for use in a chilly office. After a day in a chilly office I am thoroughly cooled and because I don't like to wear a typical winter jacket, this sweater almost looks like a normal pullover and fullfilled all my wishes. I can't really judge for the quality yet, but it gives me a firm impression. The under arm zips are quite practical if you have to grab a pen or so from the breast pocket of your shirt. A second outer pocket would make this sweater absolutely perfect. It's quite expensive, but it's worth every cent and it's incomprehensible that Dale of Norway isn't available in any Belgian shop. Even not in specialised sports and adventure shops.

This sweater has the unsurpassed Dale quality of the finest materials and amazing construction details The sweater keeps you warm enough without a bulky jacket on most days and the zip open side vents cool you down during vigorous activity. It's not only functional on the slopes but looks great for an evening out. Only con for me was just one side pocket.

Due to age and injurys I no longer work in the ski industury. However, I insist on the same high function and quality as when I wore my gear from sun up to beyond sun down. All day comfort. Wool allows for a large temprature range. The pit vents are on the torsoe and add to the tempreture range. The neck is soft and snuggly when zipped up. It is not only a beatiful sweater, this is a piece of equiptment. The quality does not get any better.

We bought this sweater for our HS aged son to wear while hiking in cold weather, but he's worn it every day to school as well! He loves the look and the thumb hooks in the sleeves. I'd buy another in a different color if they had his size (M).
