Dale of Norway Zip Neck Sweater (For Men)

I use the sweater on cold days around the home as well as over for dinner at friends. I looks and feels great.

This sweater is a bit tight (I ordered a Small for my 5'7" frame), but as with all sweaters I have from Dale, the knit will relax to a perfect fit after a handful of times out of the cedar chest.

6'1" 185lbs. I really like Dale sweaters, but this one doesn't fit as well on me. Usually a medium fits me perfect (previous Dale's), but this one the sleeve's are short (I'm a 34/35 dress shirt sleeve). Also, the seam where the collar meets the sweater behind the neck there is a bump that feels like a piece of cord is sewn on inside. I like my sweaters to fit snug but not tight and this one does fit my chest (39") and waist (I'm long waisted). I like the look, but the fit doesn't feel right. Tested the waterproofing and it does indeed repel water.

The quality was good in this garment but the size was too small in the chest and arms and was not true to size. The wool was warm but itchy and scratchy (perhaps due to the water repellency)

Dale of Norway sweaters are the best! You can buy a cheaper sweater but it won't last as long as a Dale. You get your money's worth with these sweaters. The only negative is it runs a little on the small side.

Dale is always high quality and this is no exception.

As with all Dale of Norway sweaters, this is an excellent and top-quality sweater -- even better than my more traditional "Nordic" Dale sweaters because it's monochrome beautiful blue, with the knitting patterns alone providing the elegant interest, not the more colorful ethnic designs you usually see. Great with jeans for going out in cold weather; under a lighter jacket; or on the slopes (or in the resort bar!) The poly fleece lining inside the standing collar makes it comfortable against the neck, too. Great style and comfort together.
