Forty minutes outside Bergen is where you’ll find the Dale of Norway headquarters. It’s here that Dale sweaters are carefully knitted by third- and fourth-generation craftsmen, each with years of experience and a genuine passion for their art. Based in an area of Norway surrounded by the famed Seven Mountain, it’s no wonder that Dale sweaters are made with such supreme warmth in mind. Come chilly fall breezes or icy winter winds, nothing warms like a Dale sweater.

This is a beautiful, well made sweater. It is a perfect weight for fall in ND or winter with another layer underneath. I hestitated to order, but I am glad I did. For reference, I am 5'9" tall and the sleeve length is great. I layered a tank top under the sweater.

I was on vacation in Norway and wanted to buy a Dale of Norway sweater but got sticker shock. I went on to SIerra Trading Post Website and found them for much less. So these lovely sweaters were waiting for me when I got home. They are great quality, well made and correctly sized. I purchased two sweaters for much less than one sweater would have cost me in Norway.
