“These western boots are pre-aged on the vamp and heel - dusty, matte leather that complements the upper smooth leather shaft. Comfortable for me right out of the box and they "blend" in immediately with jeans. Not "new" looking, they seem like old friends. Here in New Mexico it sometimes works better if you reach for a pair of "broken in" boots for looks, rather than looking like a "dude" - yanno? I wear these a lot.
