“I got my first pair of these in 1999. I finally managed to somehow cause a 1/4 inch tear that my cobbler was able to repair -- unless you put the boot right up to your eye, the repair isn't visible. My new pair, like my first pair, required very little break-in. These boots are easy to care for and are much tougher than you'd think. The leather, both in the vamp and in the shaft, take and hold a shine very well. My only recommendation is to do your boots a favor and use boot trees. With just a bit of care these Dan Post's will last for years.”
