“These have turned out to be great boots. I was a little concerned at first because they were very tight across the instep however, this is probably the way a good pair of boots should be -- it has been a long time since I bought a quality pair of western style boots so I had forgotten.
After wearing them a few times they hsve become very comfortable and have formed to my foot.
I would expect this from a quality pair of boots since everyone has a different foot (and feet).
Now that they are broken in I expect that they will last a very long time and stay extremely serviceable because they are not sloppy and oversize like a boot that would be tried on at the store and judged on the spot for comfort.
The sole on these boots should wear like iron, given my previous experience with this type. The antislip capability is fantastic --I'm glad I bought two pairs. JPW”
