Danner Kestrel Hunting Boots - Waterproof Gore-Tex® (For Men)

Wore these in the late deer season in Washington State. West slope of the Cascades in November means hunting in the wet and cold. These boots proved great for hunting on rugged, uneven terrain. With 600 gr. Thinsulate-Ultra, they're great for still-hunting, and even more importantly, the soles are soft. Much quieter than most other types of hunting boots. Kept my feet warm and dry. I can't wait to wear them on my next hunt.

These boots fit well and needed no break in for a from the start, a sturdy yet comfortable feel. I hunted with them the first time out of the box in very rugged terrain and found them excellent for comfort and traction. I had heard from other hunters that Danners were excellent boots and they were not exaggerating one bit.

just purchased,have worn only few times but best test so far walking in muddy slop and standing water on the high plains. kept my feet dry, gave great traction and support.could not ask for better. I hope they hold up

Only a couple tender spots, that will soon disapear soon, break in time shouldn't take long. Really great support and comfort, except in a couple places.

Good full size boot, but flexible enough to be quiet. A good compromise between a full weight hiker and a light weight hunting boot.

This is a highly functional, light weight, waterproof, warm to cool weather bird hunting boot. It is not insulated, but is still warm (but I do have "warm feet"). The high top may not be for some, and the tread is adequately aggressive, but some might desire an even more aggressive tread. Typical high quality product from Danner, and a steal at the price I paid.

Great boot for early season hunting. Well made and a comfortable out of the box fit.

bought for a 5,ooo mile trip on my cycle to Belize in December, these fit the bill to a tee. Very well-built, waterproof, tall- if I have to get-off ( term for a bike going down) quickly, I want these protecting my feet. Appear good for mid-trekking-too much boot for long distances. Height is dandy for snakes. Looked around quite a bit, and, for the money, it was a no-brainer. Quality appears excellent. The only issue may be the heat in Belize, but its a good tradeoff for safety and security.
