Good ankle support - but more important to me, they do not let grass seeds and stickers penetrate the upper. They keep my socks clean - hurray!

I can not wear for more than 4 hours at a time now my foot hurts in all my shoes.I have trouble finding boots for every day use. At 230 lbs with out tools or a pack on I go thru boots fast, 6 months is the avg. Canada had a military boot I wore for 2 years best $100 spent on boots ever .Patent pending on TFX DANNER boots from china
