In fact I am an avid straight razor user so I should know shave-sharp. Seeing as I have already (only owned it a week) payed partly for the stone in sharpening friends knives I cannot think of a better use of money. The stone came to me as perfect as I would expect if I were to buy it for [$] like what is expected of non-2nds, and I cannot even see a line or blemish in my stone. Overall, everything from kitchen cutlery, hunting knives, and straight razors this (with the right application) will get knives sharper than many of you probably think possible.
