5.0 out of 5 stars. A lot of Dansko comfort in slimmer profile

I've worn Danskos for years and love how supportive they are. The classic Dansko (clogs, etc) is clunky-looking, though, so when I bought these, I was hoping for some of the Dansko comfort, but with a lower profile, more like a ballet flat. These strike that balance pretty well for me. Not as comfy as the classic since the sole is so much slimmer, but there's still some support there. I don't think these would work for women on their feet all day, however. Also, I like the stretchy back, and the leather is very soft, not stiff. True to size as well.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Dansko does it again!

Dansko shoes are so reliable - a great fit and comfortable. These are a little different in that you can remove the insole with its raised arch support and substitute another insole, which is a great feature. Other reviews have mentioned heel slippage, but that has not been a problem for me. Great with skirts or pants.

Very very comfortable, however a little wide in the heel of this shoe.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Too short

I wear a 10 and have never found that Danskos fit me, and of course they don't. Too short in the toe. But super cute, could wear with a dress, hard to find in a sensible shoe.

THE PERFECT SHOE FOR CASUAL DAYS ....THE FRONT FIT PERFECT BUT THE BACK WAS TOO BIG SO I HAD TO SEND THEM BACK. IF THEY FIT YOU ...THEY WOULD BE THE ABSOLUTE PERFECT, ONE OF THE MOST COMFORTABLE PAIR OF SHOES!

About Dansko

That fabulous feeling you get every time you slip into a pair of Dansko shoes is no accident. It’s the very reason why this footwear brand took the market by storm in the late 1980s after its signature style was discovered in a small Danish shop and reproduced (with several upgrades) by Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup. Originally dubbed the "perfect barn shoes," that initial pair of Dansko clogs would soon evolve into a full collection, all featuring the signature anatomical footbed, roomy toe box, rocker bottom and heel raised just enough to ease leg and back muscles from morning to night. Now, more than two decades later, wildly popular Dansko shoes are available in more than 3,500 retail venues worldwide.
