However, I went for a "longer" (3 mile) walk one day with them on, and ended up barely able to walk home with horrible blisters. I was not wearing socks with them, but you really can't wear socks with these without looking really weird. Just know that these are short jaunt shoes for around the house.

I normally wear an 8 ½ to 9 .. typically a 39 ½ to 40 Euro
I went with the 39 Euro and they fit nice -- I am not sure if that fit will change in time, since there is no adjustment, and there is a lot of stretch.
I purchased these in several colors, so far I kept the black.
-- the grey & green were too light for me.. the green is gorgeous & fun, but I worry about that pretty green & dirt... I realize there are some protections that can be applied but many can also darken that pretty green... so i skipped on that color. the grey just did not work for me. I may try the tan color ..
Colors aside these are comfortable, supportive, easy to get on & off.. lightweight -- and adorable shoes. -

As these are my first pair of Dansko, I am not sure if this is typical of the sizing or not. I can say that my 37 shoes can be worn with thick socks (I knit socks which are a bit thicker than commercially available socks) and they are VERY comfortable. I do have a rather wide foot though - this may account for this. I do think these shoes run wide. I love these shoes.
Super comfortable straight out of the box, I have these in 2 colours, black and grey. I am tempted to order in brown and green, may do so again if I can get a good discount code.
Great for walking, look cute (nothing too fancy) and have kept the feet dry during rain. That was a surprise.
I look forward to more Dansko in my life.

I usually wear a 8.5 US womens but had to size down to an 8. The 8 fits perfectly, is easy to slip on and off but fits my narrow foot well.
I will look for Dansko's next time I need shoes. -

I normally wear a size 7.5 or EU 38. These felt and looked like a EU39 , but most of all they were way too wide for my feet. I showed my friend and she said they looked too big, but mostly too wide. The width problem made them unworkable, even in a EU 37. On the plus side, they are nicely made shoes and seemed comfortable had they fit. I hesitate to say size up, but know if your feet are medium to narrow width, this shoe will most likely not work fo you.
