Dansko Gretchen Shoes - Oxfords (For Women)

These shoes fit great. My feet are wide, with a high arch, and they felt great from the first day. I plan to wear them often, especially in the fall and winter.

My favorite Danskos developed holes in the sole and were making a squishing noise. They were a Mary jane sort of style with this exact sole. I was going to wear them around the house & outside, but the strap broke, so I decided to give up on them. I saw that you had this shoe so I ordered it. I don't think it is quite as soft and comfortable as the others were when they were new, but I am enjoyimg them very much. I had had the others several years before the little circles in the sole broke through, so I am hoping for another long run with these.

These are good quality and comfortable too. They look much better on! I have wide feet (C/D) and they fit perfectly. My only issue is with the laces. They have a slick finish on them and don't stay tightly tied.

This is my first pair of Danskos.

My only complaint is that if you take a step that is little bit uneven from side to side, the shoe seems to catch an edge and tip to one side rather quickly. I have learned to step a bit more carefully.

I bought these shoes about a year and a half ago and have worn them ever since...except for summer months. The leather is still supple and shimmery. The soles haven't broken down, and they still support my feet just like they did when new. They allow plenty of room in the toe bed. I have worn them on 2 European vacations...and only had to replace the laces once (the originals were not such good quality). I would buy a second pair in brown, if they still had my size. I highly recommend these shoes before the stock is depleted! Did not have time to review them earlier, but now I can honestly tell you how well they wear!

Not sure I will find these as comfortable as my other Dansko

I ordered a size 37 because my other Dansko shoes are a 37, but these crushed the tops of my toes. I ordered the 38, but they were too big. They were very comfortable, and I really wanted to keep them, but my heel didn't stay put so I returned them.

My first pair of Dansko shoes-I've worn them out of the box every day-I'm on my feet all day long-nice arch support-really great shoes- I'll buy another pair before they go out of stock-

Shoe was not true to size and upper was stiff and uncomfortable. Ties came undone easily.
