    As some other reviewers have noted, the pair of sandals I received did NOT have the strap (as pictured) that goes from the heel area toward the front of the foot. While the style was still great, the straps were too wide across the top of my foot and I ended up sending them back. Danskos are generally great for me, but not this time.

    Danskos usually fit my long, skinny feet great. These are narrow and long, but the ankle straps are much too long in proportion to the shoe...but someone with thick ankles probably couldn't ram a foot into the narrow shoe. Weird proportions

    I purchased these sandals because of the great reviews here and also because Dansko has been approved by the Podiatric Association. These sandals are perfect for wide feet; they are easy to walk in and feel good to wear. I wear an 8 1/2, so I ordered a 39 and there is still some room in the sandal. For the price, these shoes are a fantastic bargain!

    I found these sandals very comfortable as soon as I strapped them on - very cute, can wear casually or to dress up a summer outfit, dress, slacks, or capris. I got them in the green color and they look great with my green/white dress and also beige capris.

    My third pair of Danskos... these are great. The strap that crosses the foot and buckles is one continuous strap, so you can adjust in a couple of places. It was a little stiff-feeling at first, and felt too tight until I adjusted the strap on the inside and outside. They're great, and very comfortable.

    Dansko shoes usually fit my wide feet. I guess the sandals do not, as I also have a high instep. Oh well, I tried. If you are a person with no wide feet issues, I would grab these in a heartbeat!! They are cute!
