Dansko Pam Loafer Shoes - Leather (For Women)

Once I break these in I'm sure they will be very comfortable, they are just a little stiff right now. I had to put some padding on the back of the heals also. I usually wear a 9 1/2 and I ordered the 9 and they fit perfect.

I love Danskos - I own somewhere in the realm of 25 pairs including heels, boots, sandals, clogs, mary janes and oxfords. That being said, I've never had a problem with the fit of Danskos - until now. They felt a little too long and a little too wide to wear without some sort of top strap. My heel kept falling out the back of it when I walked and chaffed my heel each time. I even have wide feet! It was such a terrible disappointment. I loved the color and make of them. They had a classy, hearty look to them that would have looked great with capris, skirts or slacks, but no dice. I don't think a size smaller would have solved the problem because then it would likely be too short of a shoe. The sole is very comfortable, though, and it has good arch support if you can find a size that fits. I recommend buying them from a place where you can try them on first.

These shoes looked great with jeans or a business casual look. These were simply too flat without arch support and would hurt your feet if you tried to walk in them. Sizing was definitely a half size larger than normal.

These shoes are very comfortable. I ended up with a size smaller than I usually take in Dansko shoes, and am glad that's what I got - they seem to run large. The outside leather is a bit wrinkled - not perfectly smooth. The shoes work well for casual work or with jeans.

Just a little too big, 37 size for my 61/2 feet.
