    The shirt looks better in the picture than it did on me. Even though I am short, the proportions worked. It just didn't look nice enough to keep. They give you a bag of extra sequins and beads for repairs. The shirt is well made. The beading is covered on the inside so your skin doesn't get irritated.

    This is a nice top. Not sure how the sewn on sequins & beads will last when washed. It is comfortable, but not cut loosely,so I wouldn't call it a generous fit, but it is a knit tee shirt type material so it gives a little. Overall I like it and the black knit with the white bead trim looks good with white capris or slacks. A nice top,not gaudy, just enough trim for a conservative girl.

    I expected more a tunic-style fit, but this medium-weight, nicely-trimmed top is truly a "caftan shirt." David Brooks knit tops are snug and form-fitting on me, and therefore, too revealing of figure flaws. The beadwork is well-sewn, but in case any come unattached, the garment comes with a package of extra beads. How practical.

    "Caftan shirt" is an accurate description. It fits like a knit shirt but has a caftan neck. The bead-work appears well-sewn, but a package of extra beads comes with it. The knit is substantial and soft. I returned the shirt because it was too form-fitting; if you have a lumpy figure, you might need a body shaper beneath. (I have found David Brooks' clothing to be snug on me in XL.)
