    I thought this would be a good skirt for winter but it's really not what I would call corduroy - it's a lightweight fabric. The petticoat hangs unevenly so it doesn't look so great, plus I can't figure out what I would ever wear with it on top. I'm going to return it.

    Well made, lovely skirt. Just a bit large, and a bit longer than I like, cause I'm only 5' 3". I didn't feel one size smaller would work for me. But on a taller person, I think this would work well.

    I hesitated to purchase this skirt as I thought it might be too young a style, with its peek-a-boo lace hem, for me, in my late 50's. However, it is a great skirt to wear with boots, a turtleneck and short jacket;it washes well and is fun to wear. I received compliments from younger women at work as well as women my age who thought it was youthful looking, yet appropriate.

    I am a size 8 and the size 8 that I ordered was perfect. The price was great and as I said, the skirt is fun. It moves in a flowy bouncy way. I felt like a girl in it. And I usually don't enjoy wearing skirts or dresses. Definitely wear with some cool black boots. I wore it with suede black boots and a John A. black v-neck with 3/4 inch sleeves top.
