David Brooks Cotton Moleskin Jacket (For Women)

Too red for me. I was looking for a red jacket but not so bright.

I am short, 5'4", but this seemed to fit through the body, but the sleeves were way too long. The fabric wasn't quite as rich as I had expected, either. Nice color, though, and nice styling.

So said my husband, and he's not exactly a clothes horse. If he noticed, believe me, so will you. I do love this jacket! High-quality, heavy fabric drapes beautifully and has a wonderfully soft hand. Structured cut gives a flattering put-together look, with cuff seaming and back belt adding a slight military or equestrian air (so trendy this season). Versatile over jeans for a casual smart weekend evening, or a black skirt for work. Color is a deep, true red, not at all orangey. Size 8 feels true to size, including cuff length. I wish this came in other colors - I'd buy them all.

This jacket is a great choice to polish up a casual outfit. Highly recommended.

Beautiful jacket. Good fit, fabric and color. The sleeves are a bit too long for my short arms, so I have to turn up the cuffs. Otherwise, it's perfect.

This is a wonderful classic jacket! The fabric is substantial and cozy yet structured. The buttons are beautiful and the quality is top notch! The belt in back and the four buttons on the sleeves add up to a spiffy look. This would be a perfect jacket to wear to the office or out on the town with a skirt or best of all, with jeans. It looks much better in person and the red is a clear color, not orangey. You'll love it!

I like this jacket for all the reasons I've listed plus the GREAT price.I have been very happy with it since it is versatile enough to go with slacks, skirts or jeans.It is probably best for cooler weather since it is a fairly weighty jacket.I would have liked to have seen it available in more colors.

I have a hard time finding career blazers that I like. I took a chance on this one, and what a pleasant surprise! This jacket works for me because it is pretty in a conservative sort of way. I have worn it to work with dressy trousers and on the weekends with jeans. It has a really nice fit, feminine and not at all boxy, yet the fabric is heavier than you might think. Plus, the sleeves are long enough - I am tall and so tired of sleeves an inch above my wrist. If you are petite, it might be too long for you, but otherwise, give it a try!
