David Brooks Crochet Neck Sweater (For Women)

Very classy and pretty, nice quality. A bit more form-fitting than I could get away with, but one size up would have been too big. Returned it with regrets.

I'm not terribly stylish, so take my comments about style with a grain of salt. But this is a great sweater: comfortable, fits well, nice weight, a little stretchy, good intense black. Nice fo travel or work or even, with a nice jacket, for evening.

This really is a pretty sweater. I found that I need to wear a camisole under it (it's the ivory color), which isn't a problem except that the neckline is a little wide and it's hard to keep my camisole hidden. Also, I have had trouble ironing out the wrinkles after laying it flat to dry. I do like it though, and feel pretty wearing it.

I would recommend ordering a size larger than your normal size. I ordered size large, but had to return it for XL, which fit perfectly. I had been looking for a sweater this color (cinnabar) for years to match a skirt I already owned. It matched perfectly. However, the first time I wore it, the car seat belt caused fuzz balls all over it. I don't think this will be a continuing problem, at least not once I wash it. For now, I removed the fuzz balls with a lint roller.

Pills or dheds on other clothing

Can be worn for casual or dress. True to size.

The detailing really enhances and dresses this sweater up.

This is a lovely sweater, very versatile. It drapes well, the color is very nice, and the crochet work at the neck makes it more interesting than your average sweater. A good buy!
