David Brooks Embroidered Wool Skirt (For Women)

The gray embroidery takes this garment up a notch from a plain long black skirt. I wear it with boots and a sweater.

I purchased three skirts by David Brooks to wear to work. Although this was the nicest, with high-quality heavyweight fabric and excellent construction, I will have to return it as it is too large. The other two skirts in the same size fit great.

Couldn't believe the deal on this skirt! It's very well made, comfortable, and the embroidery around the hem elevates it beyond just another black skirt. I will wear to work with a black jacket, casual with boots and a sweater. Only negative is the fit of the waistband - it's cut in a contour, which means that it's trickier to fit than a simple band. I will need to have the waistband taken in as the fit for me is too big, which is an issue with all my clothes that are cut this way at the waist. Got such a deal I can afford the alteration! Highly recommend.

This skirt fits very nice and the style is very flattering.
