David Brooks Pick-Stitch Pinstripe Pants (For Women)

The pinstripes were wider than I expected, so slightly less elegant than I had hoped. Not lined, which has pros and cons. For dressy offices, suitable for Fridays. For most work environments, suitable all week. Fit was excellent.

Certainly not pants that anyone should pay full price for...but good value at Sierra's sale price. I had to shorten them a couple of inches...but that is sometimes the case with pants. I am 5'4".

I have a pair of David Brooks pants much like these except black. Bought these because the pair I own is a favorite. They are light weight and easy to dress up or down. They have some elastic in the back but it does not show or look matronly. Wish they had pockets. I would say they are true to size and generous if anything. I wear an 8 or 10 and got these in a 10. They are a bit big but have such a nice drape that they look fine. The color is great - a deep brown with subtle tan strips. I tried these with a tan leather blazer and deep brown cowboy boots. Looked pretty hip. Paid over $100 for my black pair so this price is a good deal.
