“Great sweater”

“This is a gorgeous sweater. The color is a great red but with some flecks of color woven in that add texture and interest. It is short--that is the style of the sweater, which is flattering on some people and doesn't work well for others. That means that the waistband is high, which works okay for me, but might not work for you, so be warned. I love the pattern of the knit, and the fabric is soft and cozy. It is elegant and flattering on the right person. The fabric is soft enough that I wore it over a tank top and was not itchy, even this early in the sweater season. It did develop some fuzz balls, but I think that is normal for a new sweater with this combination of fabric content. I have only worn it twice, so not sure if that will get worse. I have not washed it yet, but will definitely be careful with it. I am not sure why the description says "bell sleeves"--they are narrow and flattering, but I think of bell sleeves as getting wider at the wrist, and these definitely do not.”
