“I'm generally a fan of David Brooks for office and casual wear. Their trousers are fairly well-made (compared to everything else coming out of China) and seem to be designed for real women's bodies. Although the seat and hips are cut well on this model, the waist is too big -- it should lie smoothly just below navel but the reinforced waistband sticks out and creates a gap under sweaters or smooth-fitting tops. Legs are too long (I'm 5'6-1/2") Fabric is itchy, as others say. But the pant is lined in the leg, so if you tuck in a blouse, it's wearable. Fabric is good-looking, versatile tweed, richer in brown than charcoal.”
