This a SOFT POINT COLLAR and not a Spread Collar. There are no STAYS or STAY INSERTS in the Collar Construction. The describer of this item needs an education in shirt styling, construction etc

Why is this a high price CLOSEOUT????

The cotton fabric of which this shirt is made is fine.

I would not recommend this shirt to friend as it is described as it is incorrect. Soft Collars are in style as are Point Collars and should be described as such. The collar in this shirt is certainly not Spread!

I bought these in both the M and L for my husband. We are keeping the L's mainly for sleeve length. He has an arm length of 34 with a neck of 16. The M fit better through chest and shoulder than the L with a close, but not tight fit. The arms were barely just right and with one laundering will be too short. If you are a David Donahue fan and have been waiting for STP to get some, you will not be disappointed. I am hoping dress shirts will be coming shortly with options in neck and sleeve length.

The checked pattern makes this a sportshirt in most work environments but all the details, refinements, and hallmarks of a quality dress shirt are in evidence. I ordered my regular size plus a size larger because I was not familiar with this brand, but I am happy to report I was able to wear my normal size and return the other.
