David Meister Classic Matte Jersey Dress - ¾ Sleeve (For Women)

I bought this dress for a wedding and it worked out very well. It is very figure flattering. I dressed it up with gold and pearls and did not carry a purse because I couldn't find one that matched.

I ordered the dress for a special occasion, it was fabulous, fit like a dream. The day before the occasion, I got it out and found that right in the center front of the bodice was a fabric damage-- a pressing error probably, where the edge of the iron slightly melted and discolored the fabric. The color of the dress was so dark, I never noticed it until I put it under bright lights. I was heartbroken, especially when I found the dress was sold out and I couldn't get another to replace it. It was too late to get something else to wear, so I ended up getting a scarf to drape over it. But it's not a cheap garment, so I was very disappointed. The only design complaint is that the ribbon tabs to help it hang are sewn right into the neckline, between dress and lining. One would have to either carefully remove them, or, what I did was to tack them back under the shoulder seam a quarter inch. Otherwise, they hang into the neckline.

Bummer - it's brown! Just not my color at all. But what a classy dress.

This dress is everything that previous customers have said. It travels beautifully and is very comfortable with a more generous hip size than many dresses from this designer.

Wore this dress to a out-of-state evening wedding and it was great. It was never necessary to press the dress. After the wedding and reception, the dress still showed no signs of wrinkles. What's more it was comfortable. This dress is versatile and will serve different age groups and occasions depending on how it is accessorized. A great "little black dress," but in a much more stylish chocolate brown.

I couldn't be happier with this dress. I fits beautifully and is very flattering. The color and cut make it appropriate for dressy or casual. It doesn't seem to wrinke so I think it would be very useful for travel as well.

Wow... if this dress came in any other color... its mine! How about it David Meister? This dress is comfortable, sophisticated, and stylish. Make it casual but sexy with a denim jacket, and boots ... or dress it up with pearls and pair of pumps. A "dark chocolate" color, this dress is fun, versitile, and I can't wait to travel with it. My hubby bought it for me for Valentine's Day; unlike roses, this dress will be around for a LONG time!
