David Meister Jersey Dress - Belted, Short Sleeve (For Women)

It is a simple, classic dress--still kind of spendy, but it is a name-brand, fully lined dress--I am tall, so the belt seems to hit me kind of at a weird spot--I did have trouble with the lining kind of turning as I sat, so needed to pull the liner straight a few times--but not a huge deal.

Lovely, classic dress

I bought this dress last spring when it was carried at a well known department store. Even though the department store's sale price was higher than Sierra Trading Post's current price, I don't regret the purchase at all. Its flattering fit hugs one's curves without making you feel self conscious. It can easily be dressed up or down. The first time I wore it the weather was slightly cool so I matched it with a taupe toned linen jacket that the belt (included) pulled perfectly together. I felt both stylish and classy. I am 5'10+, shorter waisted with a curvier, womanly build and was about 155-160 lbs when I bought and wore it. The length hit me at about mid knee.

I love the way this dress looks and fits. It's very flattering. This is my second David Meister dress, and it didn't disappoint. It would work well at work or out at night. It's fully lined, so it's an easy and comfortable choice, too.

Attractive design and well made like all David Meister dresses. This will dress up or down depending on accessories and shoes. True to size rather than "vanity" sizing; I wear an 8 or a 10 and need a 10 in this brand. I am tall and the dress hits me just below the knee; shorter wearers might need to take the hem up if a shorter length is desired.

This is a lovely dress and looks great from the front, however, on me, the zipper waves and fabric gaps at the top of my back. So, I am not sure if it's the dress or me. Not sure if I can alter it or not, so I haven't decided whether or not to keep it. The price was incredible, though!
