Deep rich color and nice fabric. Waist and length are true to size but the shoulders and arms are quite tight. A lace camisole underneath keeps it work appropriate.

Lovely dress, but the seam in the back seems to slide if you are particular about those kind of things.

This would have been my second David Meister dress from Sierra Traders. Normally I wear a size 6. I learned before that DM dresses run a bit small, so I ordered an 8. The Deep V styling at the neckline made the top way too large,while the bottom was a bit more snug than I like. The color was a great shade of brown. The color was the best part of this dress. I returned it.

This is an exceptionally good looking dress and a bargain at the price.

I bought this dress because I loved the chocolate brown color and it fit very well. As a professional woman, I enjoy tailored, classic and stylish clothing. Just put this dress on and you'll be ready for anything!

Gorgeous dress, but didn't work for me. Beautiful color, nice style, but I am broad shouldered and busty, and the sheer fabric on the shoulders and sleeves accentuated that too much. The pleating in front kind of disappeared because I'm also busty, but a size up (& possibly tailoring at the waist to take it in) would have solved that. You'd need a camisole to wear to work because the neckline is plunging. My best friend would actually look great in it.

Great dress. Worried about dry cleaning with the pleated style "collar," but loved it on first two wears. Neckline is plunging and gapes, so you'll need to wear a camisole. I paired it with a brown silk cami and it looked elegant and professional. Have worn for business.

I like everything about this dress but the bustline. It gaps open so much that the full-figured (anything beyond a B cup) woman has no choice but to wear a camisole under the dress. I was surprised about this situation because it is such a high-end dress. I decided the plusses outweighed the huge minus, and I kept the dress. My husband thinks it is a very attractive dress.
