I started my snowboarding experience by renting gears from the ski resort and then decided to buy my own version. This board is recommended by STP that it is my size, mind you, it is 153cm and i am only 158cm in height. So it reaches my eyebrow when stands up. Still STP's criteria believes that it is my size. I got it anyway, however, it is difficult to do S turn (or carving) when i was on black diamond. Also I have adjusted the stance to as small as it could go but it is still somewhat wider than the position i can feel more comfortable with. So i ended up with buying another board, still from STP, but this time I used the criteria set by burton based on my height and weight and snowboarding terrain. That board is excellent and I will rate it really high when i am asked to give out a feedback about it. Anywho, my point in this review is that: - this board is a good board, but it doesn't fit me. - it does not fit me because the guidelines set by STP kind of misled me. - do not buy this if you are only 5'2" and weight around 108 1bs. - i cannot say if i recommend this board to my friend or not, if they are taller and fit into the guideline set by burton, yes i would. but if not, no.
