I bought these for an upcoming Christmas gift for my 20 year old daughter who loves DC shoes. I have not seen these colors together on DC shoes before, so am hoping she likes them. Being I am saving them for Christmas, I honestly cannot say how they fit, etc. However I do know she will wear them probably for everything except work, where they have to wear work boots. When I first got these shoes they were pretty stiff. The tongue's even dug into my ankles, hah! The soles were very thick and smooth at first, but broke in nicely from grip tape and foot braking. Now they are very grippy. The top is really plush so the top of my feet don't bruise from kicking a board around as much. You can really feel the board with your toes once these shoes get some wear. I love DCs and their thicker ones tend to wear longer but take longer to break in. I think its worth it. I wear these when skating on a longboard.
