4.0 out of 5 stars. Great jacket!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Austin TX on Monday, January 26, 2015Wish I could give it a 4.75 stars, but not an option. It's almost perfect. I've been really pleased overall with this jacket. It's warm in 18 degree F weather (the coldest we've had since I've had it), it keeps rain off really well.
The lycra cuff gaiters for the hands are far more awesome than I thought they would be, but they did stretch out a little after I'd worn it a few times. That could be a better design. Advertised fit measurements were accurate. The hood of the jacket was a bit "invasive" when I didn't have it over my head at first. I tightened it to fit better when it was up then discovered if it flip the brim back then push the hood back it's pretty good. Still kinda wished the hood zipped off or snapped back or something.
Still, I love the jacket. Totally worth the sale price. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. good, but not what I expectedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Tod from Michigan on Sunday, January 25, 2015I bought this for ice fishing. Looking at the reviews, ratings, and description it sounded like something that would keep me warm out on the ice - my old ski parka was finally starting to let the sunlight thru. I was surprised when I received it how light it was. The first time I wore it was just a quick walk down the road - the jacket wasn't as warm as I was expecting. I'm sure if you were active it would hold the heat in, but I think for standing around on the ice it won't be enough. The other thing is it's fit. I usually wear XL shirts; jackets can go either way. I picked this up in a L instead of XL, but it fits me like a XXL.

5.0 out of 5 stars. love this jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from nevada on Thursday, January 22, 2015i usually wear a medium in jackets and so i bought this in a medium and it fits very well with enough room to layer up when it's really cold on the mountain yet with the armpit zips it still gives it some extra breathing in case you get too hot. the insulation is nice nothing too heavy just a small amount it has lots of zips and pockets and overall the construction is amazing on this thing. the only thing i would complain about is the thumb holes in the wrist gaiters are not finished just cut and i fear it might rip eventually with some wear other than that i would easily buy this jacket again in another color.
