I guess DC is a popular brand...but when it comes to 4 and 5 year olds, they need a shoe that is not thick, stiff and clunky like these are. My grandson, looked pathetic trying to wear these for his 2 minute trial! He was walking like a penguin in them! There is no give, no flexibility, no comfort in these shoes. Style doesn't count for anything, if you are miserable trying to wear them!

This is my first pair of boarding boots and they are extremely nice. They are a bit stiff right out of the box, but wearing them around the house will break them in fairly quickly. The BOA system works great and seems to keep them tight. Still have to use them on the slopes to see if they have any loosening issues. The boots are fairly wide as well at the sole and fit snug In my bindings. I read others had a hard time using them in certain bindings. I have have the size 12 boot (I'm an 11-11.5 shoe size) and use them in a Rome 390 Boss L/XL binding setup. Hope these will last me a while.
