I'm going to go ahead and assume that these people aren't buying these to skate. Yes, these shoes take a bit of time to break in and you should probably wear some thick socks for the first few sessions, but that just speaks to how durable they are. I am on my 5th pair of the black canvas ones and they are hands down the most durable canvas shoes that I have ever skated, due largely in part to the rubber layer underneath the canvas that easily gives them a few extra weeks of life. These shoes skate incredibly well and I will continue to buy them until I can't get them anymore.
